We are excited to announce that Clover Foundation has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC through Giving Together, its philanthropic program. The IMF makes grant awards on the basis of need and merit to charities worldwide that foster economic independence through educational and economic opportunities. This grant will help Clover maintain operations in 2021 and enable us to build upon the success of our unique pre-school program.
competitive grant application process. We look forward
to an ongoing partnership with the IMF, and we’re very
proud to be among its distinguished awardees.
As Clover’s new Board Chair, I deeply appreciate your ongoing support of Clover’s work to educate and care for the most vulnerable children in Kampala, Uganda. Please consider sponsoring a Clover student by donating $500 to cover the annual costs of education, lunches, and basic medical care. Also, we continue to need your help as we move forward with plans to build a pre-school and a primary school. We anticipate breaking ground later in 2021. We hope you’ll take a look at our plans for the schools.
Covid-19 has made this past year especially challenging for Clover’s students and their families. Along with you and thanks to you, Clover has been by their sides, providing food, lessons, sanitation supplies, and nano-finance loans. You make a difference.
